A Little About Mindy Harrison, LCSW
Ms. Mindy Harrison, Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor, is the owner of Solution Focused Family Center and brings over 20 years of experience in social work and family services. With a comprehensive background in forensic mental health, Ms. Harrison specializes in child custody evaluations, adoption evaluations, parenting facilitation, and counseling. Her experience also includes working in the psychiatry department at a local hospital, where she gained valuable insights into mental health care.
Education & Credentials Ms. Harrison holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University. As a board-approved supervisor for licensed clinical social workers, she is dedicated to fostering the next generation of mental health professionals.
Beyond her professional qualifications, Ms. Harrison's personal journey enriches her practice. She is a mother of 12, including three stepchildren gained through marriage, three children who were fostered and then adopted as a sibling group, and six biological children, one of whom is a set of twins. This diverse experience gives her a deep understanding of the joys and stresses that come with family dynamics, including the challenges of navigating various paths to motherhood.
